Open Letter to my Grandson
Dear Santi,
It has been a long wait and I am so excited to finally get to know you. You made your glorious entrance into this world on March 17th and that date will forever be marked on my calendar as one of incredible joy and hope.
You made an amazing selection of parents. I know that Carla and Francis are going to be the best parents you could have asked for. You are the fruit of their love and they will take good care of you and guide you in your life journey. Your parents are perfect together and they will influence your life with the enormous kind heart they have.
You came into the world during very difficult times. The world has been shaken with a disease that will hopefully change the way in which we do things. We are holding strong and will learn new ways to make your world better. Your birth has been our sign of hope and I know that there is already a purpose to your life.
As your grandmother, I am working to be the best possible version of myself for me and for you. I want to be an important part of your life. I want to spend much time with you, and in playing and living teach you fundamental values like kindness, humility, patience, love, justice and happiness. Be certain that there are going to be plenty of yoga games in our lives.
You are also going to live surrounded by the love of an awesome family. All sides of our big clan are so happy and excited to receive you in our lives. I can confidently tell you that you will never have a boring moment in your journey. Be ready to celebrate life at its fullest and to laugh for just any reason. What a beautiful life we are ready to share with you!
I can not wait to meet you. In my heart I already feel like I know you. There is a huge part of my heart that is connected to yours. It is in this space of connection that I am keeping you close in a tight loving hug.
